Feature: Drawing birds + undiscovered art
Another month has passed, so it's time for more tutorials and undiscovered art :dummy: As usual, the feature will have three parts: One with tutorials/resources related to a specific topic (do suggest topics you're interested in! I'd love to hear from you about this), then a selection of great artwork I have discovered recently with less than 50 favorites, and finally interesting community news such as contests or similar. I'll post one feature once a month, around the 15th, and I plan to keep this going for a while. We're back to nature-related topics - and this time, we'll cover birds. And talking about covering birds, we'll start with taking a look at feathers and plumage. @SilverFlight has an excellent two-part guide to the different feather types, how they look, and where you can find them, and @DesigningLua shares some tips on how to easily draw plumage. Finally, @Blue-Hearts has a great and inspiring compendium with lots of different feather designs, both realistic
The Team Rowanberry M10 books are now ready to go for orders! You can find them in my new shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/ShrubSparrow I've also added a few other items, such as stickers and postcards that I've had lying around. If you order a few stickers or a postcard with the book, I can fit them into the same shipping cost. I ordered copies and shipping supplies assuming that everyone will want one each. There is an option to buy several at once, but due to the weight increase and new packaging I have to buy, the shipping costs will almost double with an extra book. Sorry about that! I also apologize that if I get a lot of orders at once, it may take me a bit of time to process them all. When ordering, there is also an option to get the book signed by me! Don't miss it if you want a signed copy!
Hey everyone! Sorry that this took a bit, I had a very busy week and I didn't want to rush evaluating all the entries. Due to the limited number but high quality of entries, I decided to give everyone who entered some sort of a price! Check the document below to see all the entries and their ranking. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RsTzOEW8NmCNWNndrX3ghTmX7ZXG1eQR7dOQ7pSVsjM/edit?usp=sharing
"Animals on farms are artificially inseminated against their will. They are bred just to be literally hacked to pieces within months. All for 10 minutes of an enjoyable meal, that you will soon forget. When you buy meat, you fund this, and ask for it to contine. Will you join millions in boycotting this madness? Or make justifications for this violence?
