Lately I realized that many people that draw Pokemon have designed themselves a some kind of "signature Pokemon" that they use to represent themselves. I wanted to do that too, and... designed these two. :3 It's nothing too creative, I combined stuff that I like: Grass-type Pokemon and birds. I intended to make them have traits of the Archaeopteryx, but after designing Pechico I realized that it could be based on hoatzin chicks (that have claws on their wings) and I based the evolution mostly on the bird ([link]).
I must say that I really like them. They really could be my favourite Pokemon if they were real.
I'm pretty bad at naming things, though. The name Pechico comes from petiole (leaf stalk) and chick, but it could have been Pechiole or Pechio as well, so I'm still not sure if this is the final name. The evolution doesn't have a name, but it should at least have the word 'hoatzin' in it somewhere.

This and all your other fakemon are truly amazing , I know you probably have hoards of people knocking down your doors asking permission to use these beautiful Pokemon, but I was wondering if we could have the great honor of using these fakemon in our fan game, Pokemon Sacred Truth and Eternal Lies. If you need any information about them at all feel free to look through my gallery or contact me directly to pose any questions or find out anything you need to know. If you decline then that is no problem at all 
as these are your original creation and we just appreciate the consideration. Though if you agree then it would be an astounding opportunity on both sides and the Pokemon you create would be featured in the Xikigane region with the highest possible credit imaginable and a spot in the team development credits list. As well as having one of our artists color them in High Quality online as similar to official Sugimori art as she can.
